Biography
Dr. Mohammad Arif Abid was born in Kabul in 1974. He graduated from Naderia High School and later from Kabul Medical Institute in 1999. He worked in refugee hospitals in Peshawar, Pakistan until 2001.
In 2002, he started his dermatology specialization at Ibn Sina Hospital. In 2005, he received a scholarship (JICA) and studied dermatology in Thailand for one year.
He returned to Afghanistan in 2006 and continued treating patients. In 2007, he became a certified dermatologist. In 2009, he co-founded the first dermatology and cosmetic hospital in Afghanistan.
